I’ll be filling this page up with all my Geomorph sets, in the near future.

How are these licensed? I’d like to adapt them to get printed on cards. Is that allowable?
    Thanks.

      Dusty,
I really don’t have any license in place for any of my work here. I have always worked through a “Gentleman’s Agreement” that anything here on my site can be used so long as I get the creative credit. Most everyone that has ever used anything from this site, has used my stuff for other projects that they put out free of charge. Is this a project like that? Or is it going to be a product that you will be putting out for a charge. Just curious, as the few projects that have been done with my stuff that people sold, I did get compensated for. That was all worked out ahead of time though. Let me know what you are planning to do and I am more than happy to work with you to get you what you need. Chances are that I will probably help you with whatever you need, with the creative credit alone. Hope to hear back from you soon.

My idea was to have cards printed for my own use (by artscow or similar,) not to sell.

        Dusty,
That’s perfectly fine, help yourself to anything here. I always wanted people to use any of this for their own personal use. Have fun, and I’d love a picture of the cards when they are done, I always love showing off what other people do with this stuff. Thanks!

That’s really great of you. I will send you a picture when I get the cards made. Thanks!

Hey there… I’m likewise wondering what it would take to convince you to add more of the (very useful) village-style geomorphs to Dave’s Mapper? Please ping me at delta@oedgames.com !

About this blog

This blog came into being after I discovered the OSR blog scene. I was inspired by Dyson Logos and his blog, specifically his geomorph project. Check out his awesome work: "Dyson's Dodecahedron" The style and the simple elegance of his 10 x 10 squares put me on a mapping roll. I have blatently (...and respectfully) emulated his style and now have pages upon pages of geomorphs. Along with more location specific maps in that same style.

My intent for this blog is for it to be more than just maps and geomorphs. However, for now, I'm just enjoying this burst of creativity inspired by Dyson and the entire OSR community.
