~ Attention. Here’s an update on tonight’s dinner. It was veal. I repeat, veal. The winner of tonight’s mystery meat contest is Jeffrey Corbin who guessed “some kind of beef.”~
I’ve been working, albeit slowly, on some new “Village” geomorphs and some other goodies recently. I just didn’t get anything done to the point where I am ready to post them yet. I was looking for something to post for the Friday “Mystery Meat” when I came across some old drawings of mine. During the early 90’s I went through a biomechanical phase, these are a few of my favorites from that phase. They really don’t have much to do with the OSR or mapping, but they are kind of cool, perhaps even inspirational to other twisted minds like myself.
This piece was intended to be the shoulder\arm of something…..just turned out to be interesting all on it’s own.

This one is some biomechanical “devices” designed to be hanging down from anything. The web was just something I was playing around with on the same page. The “claw” image in the center is one of my favorite images.
This image is just twisted, but unique, and a just a little disturbing when I think about it. So I try really hard not too.

This one is the beginning of some biomechanical chamber to keep a human inside, screaming in silence to get out.
