…….Friday’s “Mystery Meat”……..

~ Attention. Here’s an update on tonight’s dinner. It was veal. I repeat, veal. The winner of tonight’s mystery meat contest is Jeffrey Corbin who guessed “some kind of beef.”~

 

     It was this quote that inspired the Friday “Mystery Meat” posts. It’s from the movie “Meatballs” starring Bill Murray…..IMHO it’s a classic. If you’ve never seen it, you should check it out. Anyway, moving right along, I found this sketch for a dungeon idea the “Thieves Castle”. This is a very old sketch, I’m thinking I drew it at least 25+ years ago. I never actually turned this into a full fledged dungeon, but I liked the sketch enough to keep it around all these years. To me, the suprising thing is, that just reading the brief notes on the page, I know just what I was planning for the levels. The two “Thieve’s Test Levels” intrigue me the most. I imagine them to be levels of tricks, traps and other nastiness that a thief has to successfully get through to become a full-fledged Guild memeber.
