Geomorph 11 (Set 2)

Here is an interesting new geomorph, a big open room partially surrounded by a upper balcony. Several corridors lead into the area through archways. I really enjoy mult-level open areas, they just seem perfect for some exciting combats. There is also a corridor that goes down under another hallway then comes back up, I wonder why…? Enjoy.

Geomorph 10 (Set 2)

Here is the next geomorph in the set. The Arena, this was a fun geomorph that kind of took on a  life of its own as I drew it. There is a raised walkway all the way around the arena area. Corridors, lined with holding cells, enter the the arena through archways on opposite sides. The entire arena is lined with iron spikes up high on the walls to help prevent beasts or combatants from coming over the top. Last, we have a small secret door in the floor to an underground tunnel out of (or is it into..?) the arena. Enjoy!

WOW!!!!

WOW!!!!!! That is all I can say at the moment. Since Dyson posted some of my geomorphs the hits to this blog have gone through the roof…!!! I can’t stress enough how much my work is based on his unique, yet classic style. I am grateful for the shout out from Dyson. I am thrilled with the comments and all of the new visitors to my corner of the blog-o-sphere. I will have to kick it into high gear now to keep up and keep you all coming back.

About this blog

This blog came into being after I discovered the OSR blog scene. I was inspired by Dyson Logos and his blog, specifically his geomorph project. Check out his awesome work: "Dyson's Dodecahedron" The style and the simple elegance of his 10 x 10 squares put me on a mapping roll. I have blatently (...and respectfully) emulated his style and now have pages upon pages of geomorphs. Along with more location specific maps in that same style.

My intent for this blog is for it to be more than just maps and geomorphs. However, for now, I'm just enjoying this burst of creativity inspired by Dyson and the entire OSR community.
